How the opening works
This is the first tranche of fall-season space on the Anacortes–San Juan Islands and Port Townsend–Coupeville routes. WSF releases reservations in phases: the first tranche opens two months before the season starts, with later tranches released closer to each sailing date.
When reservations open, everyone already in the waiting room receives a randomized place in line; later arrivals join in order behind them. The reminders are timed accordingly: one the day before, one 15 minutes before the room opens.
